PLAYING FROM DIFFERENT LOCATIONS
A player is expected to play from the location that their account is registered to. If a player is intending to travel to another country and continue to play we would kindly request to be notified in advance via email to support. Otherwise, playing from another country may trigger suspicious activity warnings by our systems.

PLAYING FROM THE SAME IP ADDRESS
The rules for identical IP Addresses are different between tournaments and ring games.

Tournaments
In general, when transferring players between tables, the Site tries to keep players from the same IP address apart as much as possible. As the number of players and tables decreases as a tournament progresses this become more difficult to achieve. It can happen in the latter stages that 2 or more players from the same IP address can be at the same table. This is allowed but the rules of collusion detailed above will be in force.

Ring Games
Players from the same IP Address are not allowed to participate at the same ring game table. If a player disconnects during a ring game session and subsequently reconnects using an IP address identical to another player at the table, the player that reconnects will be removed from the table. If this happens during a hand and one of the players from the same IP address has won chips from the hand then that hand will be manually voided.

STATUS POINTS DISTRIBUTION
Status points are allocated to a ring game hand at a rate of 0.01 SP for each 0.20b raked in the hand. SP are awarded based on the amount contributed by a player to the pot. In the case of 2 players contributing to the pot and an uneven amount of SPs being generated, the extra 0.01 SPs will be allocated starting to the left of the dealer button. For example, in an 8-handed ring game, 3 players A, B, and C are all in and generate a total of 0.08 SP from a rake of 1.6b. A is the button. All players get initially allocated 0.08 / 3 = 0.02 SPs. The leftover 0.02 SP is distributed to the first 2 players to the left of the button, B & C, so they each receive a total of 0.03 SP.

1. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are prohibited on the site and can result in a suspension of playing privilieges or worse.

1.1 CHIP-DUMPING. Chip-dumping occurs when any player intentionally loses a hand in order to deliberately transfer his chips to another player. Any player who participates or attempts to participate in chip-dumpings with any other player, including being the recipient of funds, while playing may be permanently banned from playing and their account may be terminated immediately. In such circumstances GridPoker will be under no obligation to refund to you any funds that may be in your GridPoker account at such time.

1.2 COLLUSION
Collusion is defined as 2 or more players at the same table acting in a way that gives them collectively an advantage over other players in the hand either by sharing hold card information or by unusual patterns of betting. Collusion can occur in both tournaments and ring games. The Site strictly prohibits any form of collusion. Players found guilty of collusion will have their accounts suspended and possibly their funds forfeited depending on the seriousness of the collusion and the impact on other players in the games.

1.3 MULTIACCOUNTING
Multiaccounting is defined as a single user having more than 1 account registered to them. This may be for the purpose of entering tournaments with multiple chances to win, registering new accounts to avail of bonus chip offers, using a second account in order to transfer funds and cash out, colluding on ring games and tournaments, and so on.

Multiaccounting is strictly prohibited on the Site. If there is significant evidence that a player is using multiple accounts on the site, the players in question may be asked to provide government issued id to prove that they are distinct people. If this information is not received by the site within 24 hours, the accounts in question may be suspended.

If a player has been deemed to be participating in multiaccounting, each of the accounts will be closed and the balance on the account will be forfeit. If it can be proven that the player did not benefit financially from having multiple accounts, they may be allowed to withdraw the balance from one or more accounts before they are closed. This is at the discretion of the Site. In rare cases, where a player has used a primary account exclusively for playing despite posessing multiple accounts, all secondary accounts will be closed out and they may be allowed to continue to play on their primary account.

The site believes that the integrity of the poker games and the safety of player funds is of the highest importance. We understand that players may not be comfortable providing identification documents. However, if an account is under investigation it may be necessary to request proof of identity.
